Electric Cupid’s first official photo shoot!

In the magical and mystical Joshua Tree park. Fitting that our first shoot be in one of my absolute favorite places in southern California! I’m so lucky it’s only a short 3 hour drive from where I live and that I got to have friends and family experience it with me.

The photos were taken by Monique from Sol et Luna Photography. She’s a friend and old coworker and seriously one of the most talented women I’ve ever met! Her storytelling is captured magically and her photos really reflected how much fun we all had together that day. The “theme” behind the shoot was a sleepover/hangout between friends with a colorful spin with all the looks being 60s, 90s, and Y2K. That is exactly what it ended up feeling like too, nothing feels like real work when you’re amongst friends!!

The other third of our creative team for the shoot was Lauren who is also a good friend I met through work! She is a published MUA who’s handle is @_llaurennn._ and is also one of the sweetest people you’ll ever meet. She did bright pops of colored eye shadow (my fav) and added face gems for a 90’s Gwen inspired look.

The whole experience was surreal for me, while I’ve participated in shoots before, I had never participated in and been the stylist for one let alone my own company. I’m just so thankful for friends that not only support what I do, but want to be a part of creating it with me. And we hope you liked our first looks as much as we did!
